5. Set a target for the amount of work you will do each day toward your weight loss goal and stick with it. Exercise early in your day rather than putting it off till later and them never doing it – get it done and dusted and then you have the rest of the day to do whatever you want.

6. There will be days when things get tough so when you’re feeling down put on your favorite music and get up and boogie!

8. Celebrate small weight loss as much as big ones, whether it’s with a new piece of clothing or jewelry (just stay away form food rewards!)

9. Focus on your positive achievements and not the negatives, if you lost 10 pounds but put back on 2, don’t focus on the 2 you regained but the ones you’ve still kept off.
