are you basing your weightloss success on chance or choiceMy son had to go into hospiatal today for a small operation on his feet, and as you probably know sitting around a hospital can be the most boring place to be.

It seems like time moves at a completly different speed than the outside world - it drags!  (So I was left reading any magazine or paper I could get my hands on. )

But I came across an interesting article by a writer who said that his favorite saying was “You either live your life by chance or by choice”…(sorry if I didn’t get it exactly right I’m paraphrasing  it here. )

And it got me thinking how many people including myself,  leave things to chance?

Sure, we could go out and act on things to get the results we want but we don’t, we just leave it to chance.

It’s like what I’d call the lottery mentality… “I’d love to be rich  but I don’t want to take action to be rich, I’ll just sit here the rest of my life buying lottery tickets hoping for the best.

And maybe one day my ships going  to come in.

But for 99.9999% of us we’re never gonna win the lottery and we’re gonna to pass through life hoping for the best to happen but not doing anything about it. Now follow me on that train of thought, to your success with weight loss and getting back in shape.

Have you been putting your faith on “chance” that one day somethings miraculous is going to happen and suddenly you’re  slim again.

OR

Are you going to base your success on “choice”.

Choosing  not to accept being overweight any longer, you’ve taken it for long enough but that ends today!

Remember every morning when you get up you have a choice, and this decision is either going to bring you closer to your weight loss goal or further away.

So today make that choice and don’t accept living a life that completely down to chance.

Get behind the stering wheel of life and turn your life and body where you want it to go!
