5 Easy Ways To Get More Exercise Into Your Day
1 – When watching the TV, why not make it an active time rather than just time sitting down and vegging out on the sofa. Pull out that exercise bike, or stepping machine and exercise while you view. Or if your room needs a spring clean why not get the Hoover out or do a little dusting.
2 – Change your coffee break for a walking break. Instead of coffee breaks at work (where you can add to your calories) why not do the opposite and burn some calories this also helps to clear the mind and wake you up mentally.
3 – Why not take the dog for a walk. If you’re looking for the ultimate training partner that’s always there, and never lets you down then a dog is definitely right for you. If you haven’t got one, why not borrow your neighbors.
4 – Become a “Fidgeter”. In a recent study researchers found that people who fidgeted during their day had a lower body fat level than others who didn’t move around as much. So if you have an desk job and get up and around, why not take try to become more active at your desk move those hands, fingers, whatever it doesn’t matter.
5 – Play with your kids, instead of just watching them. You may be tempted to just sit on the park bench and watch then but why not burn calories also (even if it’s only throwing a Frisbee) it can all make a difference to your waistline.
