Are You a Dieting Junkie?
Have you got a better a bigger collection of diet books than you local library?
Or are you one of those people that jump from one weight loss trend to the next one hoping that this one is going to be the magical one that sorts your life out completely.
Could this new diet program or book have the magical power to make all your weight loss dreams come true?
If this is you, then you’re probably a weight loss or dieting junkie. Now don’t take this the wrong way you’re not alone there are lots of people like this.
But are you to blame for being like this?
Personally I blame the media for all the confusion and contradictions out there. They’ve taken something simple as how to lose weight and they’ve made it into a complicated mess where you don’t know what to do or what food you should eat?
But the truth is going to be revealed here today; yup you read that correctly you’re going to have the magic formula in the next millisecond…
Drum roll please…
Dum daddle dum…
“Eat less and exercise more and you’ll lose weight” … Tadddaaaa!
Are you shocked?
Is it too simple an idea? Are you angry with me now you’re probably thinking “But everyone knows this…but I did this in the past and it’s not worked for me??”
If you’re still angry with me stick with me here for a few more seconds. I bet if I asked you any question about all the fad diets out there, you’d probably know more about them than I do.
But if you take all of those diets and break them all down into the very, very, very basics you’ll find that at the very core of all of them are this….”Eat less and exercise more and you’ll lose weight”
Take even the weight loss drugs and pills that are advertised everyday. They always come with the small print “For best results a calorie controlled diet should be followed and some exercise”
Most of us are looking for the complicated formula that going to change everything “Eat less and exercise more” is too simple there must be more to it than that?
But that’s how a diet works.
It’s always been like that ever since the first day we set foot on this earth all those millions of years ago. If we control what we eat we can control what weight we are. The problem is modern media has taken this simple formula and thrown so many rules and formulas on top of it that sometimes we just can’t see it anymore.
But as the saying goes sometimes the truth hurts, but there are times when the truth can set you free.
So don’t waste anymore of your life, time and money jumping from one fad to another. Promise yourself that that last diet book you bought will be your last.
Concentrate on the basics, they’ve always work in the past, I don’t think it’ll ever change in the future.
