how to target fat without visiting the gymWhile it may sound too good to be true, a new weight loss system called the “Body Oracle” claims that it can help target specific areas of fat and eliminate them without ever having to visit the gym.

With this new system fat calipers are used to measure fat on different areas of the body, 12 places in all, some of them in rather unexpected places like the cheeks, chest and hamstrings for how much fat they contain.

Then this information is feed into the Body Oracle computer and from this a report is produced which tells the individual what needs to be done to remedy the situation.

The creators of the body oracle system claim that fat gathers in different places of the body for different reasons. Tummy fat, they claim, comes from stress, while fat on the calves indicates lack of sleep.

By finding where your fat is most concentrated the system can work out what changes you need to make in your lifestyle, for example avoiding certain foods that maybe creating some havoc with your waistline.

While this system may seem just the right thing for you there are some snags I’d like to point out…

1 – Before you go on line and use “Google” to look for the nearest Body Oracle in your area you need to be aware that a typical 12-week Body Oracle program can cost over £1,400 (U.K pounds).

Is it worth it?

Personally speaking definitely not!

If you consider how much a personal trainer and an allergy test (to find any possible food allergies) I believe would leave you a lot better off financially.

2 – The notion that fat can be eliminated off only one part  of the body is a myth that never seems to go away. While we all might like to lose weight off a particular body, your body alone knows where it can afford to lose fat off first.

For example, we all know some people who go on a diet and lose weight off their face first before they ever do off their body.

Or

Some women who lose weight off their chest before it ever leaves their hips.

Unfortunately spot reducing is a myth, just make healthier changes to your diet and your body will handle the rest. While it may sound unfair in all in the hands of DNA and your genes.
