Even though Twitter’s gone from strength to strength I know there are still a lot of people out there who still haven’t come to term’s with Twitter.

Personally I love it, its a great way to get in touch with others who share you hobbies, interests etc. In fact I wrote a post a number of months back called “How Twitter Can Help You Lose Weight,” but here’s another reason to give Twitter a go.

As you may or may not know using a weight loss diary is a great tool to use when trying to lose weight In fact researchers have found that people who  use a diary lose twice as much weight as people who don’t.

But what if you don’t want to carry a notepad  around all day?

Or what if you’re out somewhere and you’d love to know the calorie content of a particular food?

What can you do?

Easy “Tweet What You Eat.

Tweet what you eat uses the Twitter system to create a simple food diary thats easy to maintain. You simply follow TWUE and send a direct message with whatever types of food you’ve eaten at a particular meal.  Then TWUE uses those messages to create entries in your weight loss diary.

Weight Loss Success Leaves Clues

weight loss success leaves clues 300x206 Weight Loss Success Leaves CluesI used to love watching Scooby Doo when I was a kid. Watching Fred and the gang trying to found out who did the robbery or was haunting that house really used to have me hooked for that 20 minutes or so?

While Fred and Daphine usually tried their best working out the problem it was usually the Velma who got to the bottom of it all. She had the wisdom to notice small things and piece all the clues together until she got her woman/man.

So what’s Scooby Doo got to do with losing weight and getting back in shape?

Easy… “Weight Loss Success Leaves Clues.”

As I wrote before in a previous post, would you ask a broke neighbor for financial advice?

Why?

Because you know that the reason they’re in that situation is because they don’t know how to sort out their money problems out.

So why is it that sometimes we ask our closest friends about weight loss (or try the things and diets they do) when they’re in the same physical situation we’re in?

Following on from yesterdays post, if you don’t want to makes mistakes and are afraid to fail the best thing would be to follow the people who have been successful losing weight.

Then ask yourself…”What did they do and how does this compare to what I’m doing?”

You might like to think that you’re the only one on the planet thats had a hard time losing weight, but their were thousands ahead of you that did it and each one left some clues.

They did things that went right and other things that never got them a result. So why not learn from those people, be like Velma and look for clues  what went right and then add that into your daily routine.

What did they eat?

How did they exercise?

How did they get over difficult hurdles….its all out there.

So, where can you find your answers?

Easy its everywhere around you, your neighbor that used to be overweight but lost it all (and more importantly kept it off), the weight loss blogs, the forums, weight loss magazines, its all out there.

Before I finish remember what I said previously about the poor neighbor and looking for his advice. You will come  across clues that seem to be good but has the person been successful using them.

Have they kept off the weight?

Is it a healthy way to lose weight?

Could I live daily doing this routine or eating this way?

The clues are all out there but some will help you to solve the puzzle a lot faster then others!
